Consultant for Chevron, providing communications engineering support for IT Infrastructure and proof of concept projects. Primary engineer supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure field networks for the Technology and Information Management group in San Joaquin Valley. Role includes managing devices and field sensors, which collect data and process into server software to enable decision making capabilities.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Engineered portable quality steam test system (PQT) which allowed the collection of multivariable pressure data without operator intervention, reducing overall steam cost by 60% per section.
• Developed new lighter streamlined PQT system reducing cost of system, while lowering risk to operators by lower overall weight of unit.

• Deployed custom cellular communication gateways to communicate with PLCs on over 100 pumping wells, proving new methods of expanding bandwidth, while reducing data polling rates.
