Major Responsibilities

Attend morning meeting and discussion daily job and planner, receiving work requests, conducting

Job site visit, arrangement of resources & taking work permits.

Well awareness of safety & operating environment, Work Permit system and task risk assessments.

Attend group safety meetings; conduct Tool Box safety talks to the crew.

Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major overhaul maintenance

Activities.

Leading a Crew Consisting of Technician and Fitters for jobs Execution.

EQUIPMENT HANDLING

Carries out day to day preventive, corrective and break down maintenance activities of following Mechanical Equipment's.

Diesel Engine 3 12V28/32 (Sang young Korea) HFO & Diesel based Power plant total capacity 27MW

Diesel Engine3 14V32 /40 (MAN Diesel & Turbo)

Lube oil purifiers and HFO purifier's daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance & over hauling.

Steam traps, plate type heat exchanger, thermostat valves, filters cleaning, peak pressure measuring turbocharger overhauling, injectors overhauling, cylinder head removing, cylinder liner removing, piston,hydro testing of different equipment.

Reciprocating compressors

Positive Displacement Pumps (screw pump, worm type, plunger barrel, pneumatic pump etc.)

ID & FD Fans

Heat Exchangers (Shell & Tube, Plate Type)

Starting compressed air vessel

Different types of Valves

Pressure Safety Valves/ Pressure Relief Valves

Proficiency Skills

Daily, weekly & Monthly Maintenance of Rotary & Stationery Equipments like Pumps, Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, Vessels, Valves, and Overhead Condensers at the Plants.

To maintain the inventory level of plant spare.

Responsible to ensure safety of the workmen and the equipment.

Ability to completely overhaul positive displacement pumps like screw, internal, external gear, worm type, piston plunger, and diaphragm etc).

Reciprocating air compressors on single acting double stage

Routine maintenance and overhauling in shutdowns of heat exchangers like shell and tube & Plate types exchangers. Mechanical cleaning and Hp water jetting.Tube plugging and replacement. Routine maintenance and overhauling of all types of cooling towers, annual cleaning and maintenance.

Hydro testing and Box up.

Knowledge on application and refurbishment of valves like gate, ball, non-return, globe, butterfly.

SHUT DOWN EXPERIENCE

Participated and gained Hands-on Experience in two Major shutdown of 12k& 6k HFO and Diesel based engine power plant of the refinery total capacity 27MW.
