Security Transition Technical Project Manager

Managing the IBM Security Services transitioning teams with the successful transition of contracted security related services and operational accountability from the client to IBM Services. Lead service delivery competencies, interfacing with client executives and client teams to establish trusted advisor relationship and conducting due diligence to complete the transition of service. Documenting and addressing multi-disciplinary decisions and IBM processes and technical issues throughout the various projects and providing solutions.

Client projects included:

Commonwealth of Kentucky (zCloud Solution) - Implemented a transition and migration of the states existing legacy mainframe capacity and components into a hybrid-managed Z-Cloud Solution utilizing Azure. Results were eliminating capital investments, optimizing software investments, eliminating refresh costs and providing Cloud-like attributes for dynamic capacity growth/ Decline.

Pratt-Whitney (VMS) – Vulnerability Management Service (VMS) – building/installing infrastructure; this tool in the Data Center to provided a process to provide notifications and alerts of security breaches within the infrastructure for protecting assets and information from advanced threats).

Columbia Pipeline Group (CPG) – Managed the implementation and coordination of Security Services in the Data Center to protect CPG’s environment using Firewalls, SIEM, Network Intrusion, Malware, Security Policy development, ID Administration, and Security Compliance for protecting assets and information from advanced threats and ensuring on time delivery of the contracted requirements.

FEDEX – Assigned to drive and direct data collection and process to securely gather information for import in ServiceNow implementation by HP for all FEDEX assets and ongoing support of the infrastructure.

Fannie Mae – Drove the planning, setup, configuration and implementation of a Citrix Environment used by multiple 3rd Party Support organizations to manage the support of Fannie Mae’s infrastructure from a security perspective.

State Farm Insurance - Led the transition of new services organization, processes, user experience and service strategy for national State Farm field offices. Use and management of SCCM to distribute new builds to local offices.

Best Buy - Increased the BestBuy presence worldwide by leading the project team in the creation and implementation of an effective SDLC approach in transitioning corporate desktop services and processes to an offering that could be expanded as new companies were purchased.

Microsoft Information Security Group - Acted in a consultative role to manage this project designed to access the risks of using HBI data in Product Development Labs that provided individual business units with the data and tools that lowered risks without negatively impacting business performance and costs.

Starbucks - Established wireless capacity using VoiceStream (T-Mobile) in Starbucks, Kinko’s and Borders Bookstores.

ebay - Lead the eBay team in managing the installation, start-up, and maintenance of the proposed Performance Optimized Data Center (“POD”) structure and utilities, and the HP IT equipment located in their Phoenix, AZ Site.
