2. Project – Bank of the West, CCAR & CAPPR July 2014– April2015

Role: ETL QA Project Lead

CCAR and CAPR is a project to submit the Financial, Capital, Loan, Assets and Liabilities report to the Federal Bank from Bank West (BWE)with consolidated information from Bank of the West (BOW)and First Hawaiian Bank(FHB). The project involves ETL of data from all sources to staging tables, enrich them and finally load the Schedule tables from which the reports will be generated.

WWR is a financial collection law firm which handles the collection process of many major banks in the US. The Information is exchanged in EDI format between the banks and the firm which is either extracted or loaded from the Data warehouse. The input information received from all banks in EDI format is loaded into Data warehouse and the ETL is done through SSIS packages. After all the financial processing and maintenance, the data is once again fetched from database and loaded into Data warehouse and information is sent to banks again in EDI format.

Analyze EDI data formats and mapping based on requirements of client EDI format in a very challenging environment
