Supplier Quality Oversight Surveillance Lead

Responsible to perform Supplier Quality Oversight activities of selected suppliers during the fabrication of AP1000 modules, piping, cable, cable tray and other equipment as required. Oversight activities include surveillance/audits of supplier implementation of their Quality Assurance Programs and compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B and NQA-1 requirements. Perform Source Inspection activities as required in accordance with WECTEC Quality Inspection Plans for specific commodities.

CB&I – March 17, 2014 to January 1, 2016

Source Inspection Performance Improvement Coordinator

Responsible to assure CB&I and 3rd Party Inspectors are conducting inspections at suppliers facilities per Contract Documents and as required by the applicable Inspection Plans an accordance with CB&I Power Policies and procedures, for reporting deficiencies to the Nuclear Manager of Inspection, making recommendations regarding possible improvement of the inspection effort and manpower staffing, conducting Pre-Inspection meetings and conducting inspection as required. Evaluate identified areas of weakness and develop training to address weaknesses identified.

Lead Source Inspector

Perform supplier Source Inspections activities associated with nuclear projects at various stages of manufacturing to verify quality requirements specified in codes, standards and engineering and procurement documents are met. Manage the Source Inspection Group (10 Source Inspectors) at the BF Shaw (CBI Laurens, SC) facility. Fabrication activities include ASME III, B31.1 piping and mechanical equipment modules designated for the VC Summer Units #2/3and Vogtle Units #3/4 projects.

Nuclear Oversight Vendor Auditor - June, 2007 – March, 2014 – Salem/Hope Creek Generating Stations Hancock’s Bridge, New Jersey

-Conduct and lead audits and commercial grade surveys (NUPIC) of supplier’s quality programs.

-Perform annual assessment of suppliers.

-Perform review of corrective action program and operating experience for supplier performance issues.

-Responsible for departmental procedure generation and revision.
