Provide End Users with Payroll Analysis and Reporting service. This includes new analysis reporting with RDLC reports from the results of a Stored Procedure using MS SQL Server 2014. Made modifications to several classic ASP pages, based on new requirements. Also assisted the DBA modify SSIS packages to improve processing. After my last contract was ending I decided to take time off to sell my house in Maryland and Move to Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, where I’m currently at and now I’m looking for a house and employment. Application Development with Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source code repository, c#, MVC 2, Visual Studio 2010, C# Class Libraries for database access and ORACLE 10g back end.

Architected, designed and development of a menu and processing rights process based on the database design. The initial process was with ORACLE 10g view which linked together data from seven tables joined in the view to create the application and processing rights for a registered user. Modified several processes to put the process calls in their process to perform the menu and rights security checks.

Prototyping different methodologies to provide for processing an Organization relational model for capturing different types of data pertaining to an Organization. Developing different views for processing. This application will have more processing additions and will have the menu and rights package applied when processes are approved.

Independent Contractor 05/2008 – 07/2011

Dental office in Maryland: Architected and set up a peer-to-peer network in a Dental office for a server and five workstations. All Microsoft XP operating systems. Installed the software for the office and tested from all workstations.

Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Roslyn, VA contractor: Tasked by a HUD contractor to set up their development environment and assist the developers in coding. Initial work was setting up a master page for use throughout the project. Coding was with c#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, and TFS. This was an enhancement to a classic ASP application.

US ARMY, Springfield, VA contractor: Tasked by an ARMY contractor to assist in the development of an MVC 2 application using c#, ASP.NET, Web Forms, ORACLE 11g, Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and DB access with Dapper. All application code was stored in TFS.

Supported a SPAWAR web-based procurement system by developing and customizing document and form routing via the ORACLE 9i Workflow Tool. The tool was modified to allow for parallel/concurrent routing and performed extensive testing, ensuring that all route scenarios were functioning before deploying to SPAWAR. The specific modifications were several new PL/SQL packages and procedures to replace the ORACLE 9i version so we could black box our modification with an entry and exit point to bypass the ORACLE 9i packages and procedures. The only modification was made to their PL/SQL and that was to point to our custom modifications.

Development, enhancements, and bug fixes to PowerBuilder 7.0/8.0 Client/Server Procurement application running on MS SQL Server 2000 and ORACLE 9i Database’s. Also developed and implemented a dynamic query tool for user ad hoc reporting.
