Leadership role in QA group, including but not limited to defining protocol implementation. Working with a simulator i.e. simulating a large telecom fiber switch. Configuring, testing via snmp, responsible for executing test plans, in a timely fashion, writing test plans via RFC’s and putting together network scenarios, that a typical customer (ISP, NSP) would have in the real world. TCP/IP/BGP4/OSPF/VPN/MPLS main focus. Also testing, defining and debugging a network management tool/product that is specific to the Celox product. Responsibilities include dial-up/PPP testing and CLI testing of the Cajun A 500. An ATM backbone switch. Completed development of test cases for the PPP functionality and the CLI testing. Delivered a prototype for CLI test automation. Would have completed the project but the product was discontinued. This prototype successfully called into the A500 and displayed each of the CLI commands. Also responsible for the testing of other ATM functionalities.

Primarily responsible for testing the AS5300 Cisco router, tested modem performance of the 5300/5200 and also the 5800. Mica modem technology purchased from Telebit and incorporated into Cisco’s router platform. Assisted in dial-in client testing of the 5300 using various competitor modems and various types of dial in dial-in clients (wanderlink, Ftp, win95) test products. Assisted in the creation of test plans, test design specifications and statements of test.
