We moved out of the Puget Sound area for my husband’s employment. I was unemployed during this time in order to assist my husband in his new assignment. My husband is a minister and while we were on assignment I worked in the office of the church as his administrative assistant. We have completed that assignment and have moved back to Puget Sound. I am ready to go back to work again.

During this period of employment with Boeing I was a Procurement Coordinator supporting a group of approximately 30 Procurement Agents.
I provided support to the Procurement Agents, internal Boeing customers, and Suppliers to identify and resolve invoicing issues, shipping/receiving issues, customer service issues, and, again, made changes to orders already placed in the SSPN order system as needed on a daily basis.
For the last approximately 10 years of this time period I was a lead for my group of 12 Procurement Coordinators and also was on the initial group to work out the details of Supplier Management and Procurement’s association with an outsourcing company.
I was part of the group of 3 that wrote out our processes and procedures, trained the outsourcing company employees who initially came over to Boeing. I then went to India to help train the outsourcing company’s employees our processes and procedures. I made 4 trips to India in 4 years to train new processes and procedures as they were assigned to the outsourcing company.
After I trained the outsourcing company employees, I was one of the 3 people who monitored their work, reported their progress and issues to management on a weekly basis, worked to resolve issues that came up with internal Boeing customers, Suppliers, and the outsourcing company regarding their employee’s daily work.
Reason for leaving: Retirement
January, 1994 – November, 1999 – Layoff period. After a short stay in Montana we moved back to Puget Sound. I worked back at Boeing as a Contract Labor employee, with Kelly Services, until I was hired again as a full time employee in November of 1999.

During this period of employment with Boeing I held two different positions.
I was an Office Administrator supporting 3 managers and approximately 30 Procurement Agents. I was responsible for typing correspondence and contracts for the buyers; managing the calendars of the 3 managers; sorting and distributing mail and paychecks to my groups. I did travel arrangements for the buyers and managers and monitored the manager’s expense reports.
I was one of the Office Administrator’s chosen to test the Travel Manager system when it was new to Supplier Management and Procurement.

During this period I was also a Procurement Coordinator for one buying group. I provided support to the Procurement Agents, internal Boeing customers, and Suppliers to identify and resolve invoicing issues, shipping/receiving issues, customer service issues, and made changes to orders already placed in the SSPN order system as needed on a daily basis.
Reason for leaving: Layoff due to downsizing of our division.
