Misys International Financial Systems Technology (Beijing) Ltd.

Worked in an Agile team in Beijing and cooperated with Bangalore team to program for the core banking product - Fusion Banking Essence.

Implemented functions: account opening and closure, deposition and transfer, account switch, interest calculation, data collection and validation and storage, database management, etc.

Reinforced the existing system as the BA and clients’ specific requirements.

Completed unit testing before code review and resolved the defects spotted by QA and clients.

Worked in a big group, tested the localization in different Operating Systems (computer and mobile devices) according to the client requirements.

Academic Projects

A Spreadsheet Application (Winter 2014)

Environment, language, and tools: Windows 7, Java, JUnit, Git, LaTex, Eclipse.

Programmed a spreadsheet application in a team of 10 students, in the Agile method.

This project has three iterations, and we had three sub-teams. In each of the iterations, we took different roles to contribute to the project. In the first iteration, programmed the “Cell” class; in the second iteration, tested the GUI functionality with JUnit by using the unit testing method; in the last iteration, did the test case documentation for the first and last iteration with LaTex.

An Online Bookstore Management Website (Winter 2013)

Environment, language, and tools: Windows 7, MySQL, PHP, Notepad++.

Programmed an online bookstore management system: people in the bookstore have different roles and different accesses to the system; all the users can check the current book inventory, make orders to book publishers, send books to customers, and check the order status; the manager user can also use the website to manage the employees and check their employees’ sales.

Designed the ER diagram with other three students. Wrote queries to support: sorting books by ISBN, Searching books by user input, listing the sorted in-store books of given bookstore branches, sorting employees information, searching employees by ID functions.

A racing 3D game (Fall 2012)

Environment: Windows XP, C++ with OpenGL, TortoiseSVN, Visual Studio 2010.

Built 3D models using C++ and OpenGL: the models are motor, race track, roadside billboards, and buses.

Crate the global lights and the motorcycle head lights; programmed game logic to run the motor: using arrow keys to control the direction and speed of the motor.

Playtesting and debugging.

A First- Person Shooter Game (Fall 2012)

Environment: Windows XP, Xbox360, C#, XNA, TortoiseSVN, Photoshop, Maya.

Designed a playable 3D shooter game in a group of four.

Designed the game logic and gaming flow with the team members.

Worked for 3D modeling with one of the teammates and familiarized myself with Maya during the project period.

Tested the game and debug.
