I am currently managing a staff of over 30 people as Dietitian Supervisor at Howard County General Hospital. My duties include ensuring successful delivery of all catering orders to patients and senior level management. I am also responsible for managing and maintaining accuracy of all cash transactions, and delivering supplies to the emergency room, Pediatric and Intensive Care Units, and labor ward. My strategy to improve order accuracy, delivery time, and communication was successful in raising the Patient Care and satisfaction scores from 40 to 85 in just 6 months. I was hired as an intern to manage inventory and ensure quality control in the Nutritional Management department at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I was responsible for planning events for over 100 people and coordinating catering orders for executive meetings. I was able to improve communication across the department by identifying areas of improvement, and developing an action plan for a more fluid workflow process.
