L’Oréal USA Demand Planning Analyst / Demand Planning Manager July 2015 – Present

Global leader in men’s and women’s beauty products.

Currently filling in as a Demand Planning Manager - forecasting 200 SKUs in eight sales channels for a >$100M professional haircare brand, the third largest in the division. Position entails monthly forecast consensus meetings with a presentation in front of the division’s executive committee and all cross-functional teams.

As an analyst, oversaw the Distribution Center-level forecast on ~1,000 SKUs across six national DCs accounting for >$300M in sales. This included maintaining the ongoing SKU forecast, adjusting forecasts based on promotional activity, and ensuring new launches were adequately stocked for large initial orders.

Responsible for testing and validating the forecast data feed from our forecasting system to SAP to streamline inventory deployment orders, increase forecast visibility, and reduce manual work for the entire divisional Demand Planning team. This consisted of testing ~5,000 SKUs in six DCs representing >$1B in sales. Findings were presented to the VP of Operations for the division with implementation in January 2017.

Revamped and documented the promotional sizing process to provide a standard for all teams division-wide. Templates were created to keep track of allocations by channel, benchmark promotional performance, and track changes over time. Process and files were used to size ~80 sales promotions per quarter.

L’Oréal USA Brand Operations Intern – Active Cosmetics Division June 2014 – June 2015

Global leader in men’s and women’s beauty products.

Prepared and presented to management an international shipping process analysis for the SkinCeuticals brand, identifying potential savings of over $300,000 in transportation and warehouse costs and weeks of lead time reductions.

Created a comprehensive Demand Planning dashboard in Excel analyzing root causes of forecast errors, improving achievement of forecast accuracy targets. The dashboard also streamlines monthly reporting and management presentations by eliminating the need for manual updates.

Key participant in the implementation of Logility 8.0 SCM software across four brands by validating data from the legacy system, correcting historical data conversion, and creating seasonality profiles.

C.H. Robinson Supply Chain Sales Intern June 2013 – December 2013

One of the world’s largest third-party logistics providers.

Created Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) manuals for daily logistics operations for standardization and training purposes. The SOPs were shared and utilized between numerous branches nationally.

Created maps from Excel data to graphically illustrate the region’s most profitable and busiest shipping lanes. The maps were used to more effectively focus sales efforts.
