Responsibilities/

Major Achievements - Successfully managed the implementation of change in the organization after the company had undergone a strategy session and came out with a 5-year strategic plan which called for implementation of change in the organization.

- Successfully cascaded the HR 5-year strategy from the organizational 5-year strategy.

- Successfully developed and implemented nine (9) HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the company with total headcount of 176. Drafted the Employee Handbook and Conditions of Service which was approved by the Board of Directors implemented.

Developed and implemented a new employee performance management review and made it a continuous activity rather than the biannual or annual review it used to be.

- Successfully trained and developed two Housekeepers to rise to the position of Front Desk Executive and Administrative Assistant. Also gave opportunity to six (6) factory hands to be trained as sales executives for the company’s range of pharmaceutical products.

- Used efficient recruitment and selection process to hire competent employees for the organization including management positions leading to a low turnover rate of less than 5% year on.

- Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) annual audit during my tenure as HR Generalist had always shown compliance level in all personnel areas.

- Organized an Enterprise Improvement Team (EIT), an ILO sponsored program for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to implement improvement ideas such as formation of 5s team in all departments, rearrangement of the raw material and packaging material warehouses, rearrangement of tools and parts at the Engineering department (thereby reducing turnaround time), instituted employee feedback scheme etc in the organization.

- Prepare excellent HR analytical reports (monthly, quarterly and annually) for the Board.

- Successfully led in compilation of necessary documents for due diligence which led to the organization acquiring US$9 million loan facility from an international Bank in 2013.
