Position: QA Tester

This application is used to store the Electronic Medical Record, Electronic Health Record and Electronic Patient Record. It is an evolving concept defined as a systematic collection of electronic health information about individual patients or populations. It is a record in digital format that is capable of being shared across different health care settings, by being embedded in network-connected enterprise-wide information systems. Its purpose can be understood as a complete record of patient encounters that allows the automation and streamlining of the work flow in health care settings and increases safety through evidence-based decision support, quality management, and outcomes reporting.

Responsibilities:

oStrong knowledge of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle & Software Testing Life Cycle from Test planning to defect Tracking and managing Defect Life cycle

oRecording / Running scripts, Split Actions, Creating Reusable Actions, Synchronization, Parametrization, Inserting Checkpoints, Capturing Values using UFT

Reston Hospital patient care and nursing excellence, included- Chest Pain Center with PCI from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, Joint Replacement Center for Hip and Knee Replacement, Reston Hospital Center's Bariatric Surgery Program is MBSAQIP, information systems. Its purpose can be understood as a complete record of the patient’s encounters, that allows the automation and streamlining of the work flow in health care settings and increases safety through evidence-based decision support, quality management, and outcomes reporting.

Responsibilities:

oGathered and analyzed Software requirement specifications and design documents to ensure traceability and testability.

oFollow the Agile (Scrum) methodology for software development life cycle process.

oDeveloped and assisted in test plan, test scenarios, test data, test cases, and various reports.

oUsed company templates in spreadsheet/excel sheet to design test cases and requirement traceability metrics (RTM) using Unified Functional Testing tool (UFT)

Northwestern Mutual is the leading provider of insurance products in the Midwest. The application provided the information about Policy Transactions, Premium and Claims Transactions data to the business users. This system was primarily built for analysis and report generation which was used by the Business Analysts for Decision making.

Responsibilities:

Gathering requirement analysis

Analyzed business requirements and system specifications, involved in preparing details system test plan and procedures using QTP

Creating Automation Resources such as Function Libraries and Debugging the script.

Performed Quality Assurance testing on the System. Involved in system testing of the application

Developed test cases and test scripts using Test Director for Functionality, Security and Regression Testing

Extensively worked on handling the application response for Positive and Negative sets of data with Test Director.
