The Peavey Manufacturing Company Inc. is a small family owned manufacturing company located in Eddington Maine, which processes sawlogs into squares, dowels and logging tools. My position was assistant office manager, payroll supervisor and customer sales representative. Duties included:

Accounts Payable: Checking invoices against packing slips, and purchase orders, coding to the correct account number, paying all invoices when due or when discount is available. Reconciled bank accounts on a monthly basis as well as all accounts associated with the companies banking institutions. Accounts Receivable: Posting all Checks, ACH Payments, Credit card payments, Cash payments to customer accounts. Totaling all cash deposits, sales receipts and posting Account Recievable deposits. Payroll: Entering all employee hours into Quickbooks, processing payroll, paying all taxes, State and Federal 941 and unemployment Quarterlies as well as W2 and annual reports. Sales: Answered incoming calls, created sales orders, submitted orders to production supervisor and warehouse manager. Waiting on customers in the showroom and creating sales receipts. General Ledger: Entered all monthly entries, reconciled accounts, monitored cash accounts, created reports in excel l on production, sales and budgets. Reviewed all profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
