Internationally recognized manufacturer for portable medical imaging equipment (MRI, PET, CAT Scan) systems. Built completely portable systems onto specialized truck trailer frames for hospitals, military and contract providers. Provided all design, build, re-build, delivery and maintenance services. Three production facilities with 100 employees.

Director of Operations

Integral leader for the application of Medical Diagnostic Scanning Equipment (MRI and PET/CAT scanners) onto portable platforms.

Daily contact with both the end user and OEM from project inception to contract completion.

Coordinated in house service department to satisfy customer requests for both service and upgrades for operating systems in the field.

Responsible for the establishment of a new 75,000 square foot production facility that increased manufacturing capacity by over 100%.

Operates worldwide sales and support network for full support of product line. Manufactures hundreds of Controls under the Dwyer, Love, W.E. Anderson, Proximity and Mercoid Brand Names.

Manufacturing Development Lead

Plant Manager Sensor Production Nov. 2013 – Feb. 2015

Developed MEMS Sensor bonding and test process for pressure sensors used for all aspects of industrial measurement and control.

The development process includes plasma cleaning, chip bonding, Thermosonic bonding, welding, test, characterization and build into final assemblies for pressure transmitters and pressure gages.

Designed and fabricated test and calibration equipment to eliminate bottle necks in the various production lines and eliminated late orders to conform to corporate goals.

Reduced order fulfillment, for configured products, from 6 to 3 days.

Increased overall sensor yield by 23%.

Increased plant first past yield by 14%.

Started development of a low-pressure MEMS transmitter and a new design to reduce finished transmitter inventory by 40%.

Team Leader Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Tool Room and Security

July 1999 – Nov. 2013

Responsible for the management of 22 direct reports including all personnel, training and mentoring issues.

Strengthened company's business by leading implementation of ten lean manufacturing flow lines resulting in an average of 40% cost savings and 35% output improvement.

Provided for the repair and maintenance of on-site and 8 vertically integrated manufacturing sites.

Designed and released 12 products with 50% net profit margin.
