Supervised Quality Inspection department of approximately 20 employees. This included but not limited to:
Reviewing daily activities and product to ensure that all products met Customer requirements.
Reviewed Non-conformances and processed to the MRB (Material Review Board) for disposition.
Reviewed, promoted, and disciplined within the department as needed.
Participated in Internal Auditing to ensure all Customer, ISO, and FDA requirements were being met. (Certification received).

Creating a Gauge List that listed all necessary gauges for every job in the shop that would assist in preparing the job both on the manufacturing floor as well as the Inspection Department

Managed Calibration System of approximately 9,750 active gauges. This included:
Entering all gauges into the Calibration Software (Gage Trak) with appropriate tolerances, calibration due dates, and failures.
Scheduling On-site and Off-site calibrations with the Outside Vendor chosen to perform these actions. This included scheduling 2 days per month for on-site each month to calibrate IMTE such as Micrometers, Calipers, Optical Comparators, Height Gages, etc.
Pulled all gauges that needed to be Calibrated off site which included all Thread Ring and Thread Plug Gauges, Temperature Gauges, Voltage meters, etc.
Requesting internal gauges to be manufacture to assist in easing inspection of several dimensions. Attribute gauges.
Ordering replacement members for any Thread Gage that fell out of specification.
Create Deficiency reports for any gauges that failed calibration.
Reduction in Calibration cost by extending gauges that the calibration seal was not broken during the previous cycle allowing the gauge to be used an additional 3 months to a year depending on the gauge type and application it was used for.

Final Inspection of product for the Medical Device and Aerospace industry. Managed the Calibration System using Gage Trak Software which includes:
Final inspection of Medical Device and Aerospace components and assemblies using various IMTE including Micrometers, Calipers, Optical Comparator, Height Gauges, Tesa Hite Gage, OGP Vision Machine, Go / No-go Thread Ring, Thread Plug Gauges, Go / No-go Gauge Pins, and various Customer Supplied and Internally made gauges to ensure all Customer specifications were within specified tolerances as required.
Entered approximately 1,800 gauges into the Gage Trak Software to be able to manage monthly and annual calibrations. Scheduled On-site and Off-Site calibrations using an Outside Vendor chosen to perform calibrations. Wrote up deficiency reports for any out of tolerance gauges.
