Responsible for procuring subcontract efforts and material purchases for both direct and indirect charges and overseeing accountable inventory.
Duties include soliciting quotations for materials and services using both US based and foreign suppliers and issuing the purchase orders to procure the goods and services per the policies and procedures set forth by Allied.
Other duties include:
Working with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery
Work with accounting to reconcile any discrepancies in supplier invoices
Process receiving reports and close out purchase orders on a daily basis
Expedite/monitor open purchase order to ensure anticipated delivery schedules are met
Print & verify weekly accountable charges for all inventory items used in the previous week and report to accounting for customer billing
Execute monthly physical inventory counts using Visual Mfg, input counts received by tool room clerks, and reconcile any discrepancies that may occur. After completion pf monthly physical count, publish the 2 metric charts.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems as necessary with both internal and external customers.
Responsible for issuing solicitations and purchase orders for other Allied sites located in Florida, San Diego and El Segundo, CA following Allied policies and procedures.
