Carbon Nanotube, Graphene Growth and its application on small aircrafts and UAV’s July 13’ – May 15’ Co-Founder of the Nanotechnology Research Group at Embry-Riddle. Submitted four grant proposals, which were approved for a total funding of $27,000. Assembled an ERAU Graphene/Carbon Nanotube laboratory where Carbon Nanotube’s (CNT) and Graphene were grown using chemical vapor deposition process and then analyzed using a Scanning Electron Microscope. Worked on designing de-icing systems for small aircrafts and UAV’s by embedding CNT’s into an epoxy and analyzed its electrical conductivity.

Aircraft Preliminary Design – Team Leader January 14’ – May 14’ Lead a 4-man group to formulate a conceptual aircraft design, which can meet a prescribed set of performance requirements. Conducting both stability and aerodynamic analysis. Estimating both the production and operating cost of the design to assess its feasibility.
