Project Description

Ahold Corporate Entry system (ACES) is a workflow based web application and is used by the Ahold corporate users to enter the items in to the system, the application provides the facility add or change or delete the item in the system. This application is used by the Ahold corporate users to enter the DSD, Offline and Warehouse items information. This application is mainly used by Shop & Stop and Ahold corporate users.

Responsibilities:

•Using Agile/Scrum development methodology during designs, implementation, testing, and maintenance by collaborating with architecture team.

•Involved in writing Technical Design Document for the given requirements by business team.

•Using Spring MVC and Struts frame works.

•Developing UI screens using JSP, JSTL, HTML with JAVA SCRIPT.

•Written Hibernate mapping files and configuration files, created the abstract classes and interfaces for service and DAO layers to easily access the wrapper methods in hibernate based on object, list or primitive parameters.

•RAD is used for project development environment and WAS to deploy the application.

•DB2 is used to maintain legacy system information and ORACLE DB is used for user transactions and for maintaining user records. Both databases work synchronously.

•WebSphere MQ is used to receive data from Mainframes.
