I was responsible for maintaining the sales floor, covering the fitting room/operator which included answering the phones and directing calls. I soon learned how to do adjacencies and planograms, meaning resetting the sales floor layout to company standards every month. I have worked overnight shifts every month 4am-1230+pm. I then was cross trained to work in electronics, grocery, backroom, front lanes (cashier), guest service, price accuracy team, and other areas of the store.

My main duty was to unload the truck and to make sure everything was accounted for before sign off. I quickly became familiar with using a pallet jack and a forklift in order to organize the stockroom and to stack pallets up.
