I am applying for the position for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. I have a superior multi tasking talents with waiting on customers, filing, radio communication, and answering multi phone lines. I have billed over 1470 customers for utilities which consisted of electric, water, and sewer. I collected the utilities payments, sewer assessments, zoning permits, fire hall and park rentals from the customers which paid by cash, checks and credit cards. I balanced out on a daily basis. I processed work orders and dispatched service personnel for meter readings, work orders, power outages, and street repairs. I processed incoming mail and packages and scheduled meetings such as council, rotary, boy and girl scouts. I am very organized and I have used Microsoft Word and Excel as well as other software. I had to send out utility bills and shut off notices by the 1st and the 25th of each month and never missed a deadline. I also ordered all office supplies. In the past I have dealt with agencies such as Department of Human Services, Community Action Agencies, Salvation Army, and local churches for customers in need with assistance on their utilities. I have had experience in accounting and reconciled invoices against purchase orders, material packing slips and receiving records so the approved invoices could be paid by the corporate office. Balanced out accounts daily utilizing computer generated reports. I interfaced with vendors daily regarding account status. I have experience in payroll duties and very efficient with a 10 key calculator.
