Project Title: Concept Design of Passenger Information Display & its Installation, Cross Rail Interiors

Client : Bombardier Rolling Stock, Derby

Role : Design Engineer

Project involves Creation & Installation of EPID device in the Ceiling location.

Design consists of Material Selection, improved the shape of the shroud profile provided by IDD team to avoid Manufacturing issues & to reduce the cost.

Worked with FRP Plastics & considered the necessary requirements for executing the concept phase.

Design consists of Installing the Shroud, Stud Plates, Concealed Hinge, Brackets and Gas Strut to ensure proper maintenance and serviceability.

Executed the Design task in Catia V5 Surface & Part design mode.

Thoroughly checked with the interfaces.

Regular meetings with client to ensure proper design within committed deadline.

Executed Preliminary & Detail design stage.

Bonding procedure is used to join the components.

Create parts and Drawings for the assemblies and components in CatiaV5.

Create the structure in the VPM (Enovia) accordingly in connection with PDM and vice versa.

Project Title: Wiper Tank Mounting System, SNCB

Client : Bombardier Rolling Stock, Crespin

Executed Concept, Preliminary & Detail design stage for Wiper Tank System.

Selection of Material based on EN 10025 standards.

Applying Welding on engineering drawings as per BS EN 15085 standard.

Design consists of Bracket, Stiffeners & C-rails for mounting the Wiper tank in the Sidewall module.

Create the structure in the VPM (Enovia) accordingly in connection with PDM and vice versa.

Checked the Interfaces between body sides & Interiors.

Review the work with Client to meet correct design.

Executed the PDM work from the beginning to approval stage like tiff register, Article, Technical, BoM, DRL creation and submission of DRL.

Project Title: Carbody Primary Structure of SNCB

Client : Bombardier Rolling Stock, Crespin

Executed Preliminary & Detail design stage for SNCB.

Create parts and Drawings for the assemblies and components in CatiaV5.

Applying Welding on engineering drawings as per BS EN 15085 standard.

Selection of Material based on EN 10025 standards.

Created Liaison parts between different modules to allow closed Shell design.

Create the structure in the VPM (Enovia) accordingly in connection with PDM and vice versa.
