KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES RE-DEFINED :

Formulate internal logistics operational procedures to ensure effective Supply planning and execution .This is to Create Orderliness and transform Logistics activities for good organizational management system and also sourcing and distributing finished goods to all parts in Nigeria especially East.

Ensure that all shipments of raw materials especially maize received through NPA is timely delivered to the company to avoid stock out and meet up with production schedules.

Work towards getting the right contractors (Transporters /Suppliers) through effective screening exercise as to enhance operational efficiency.

Effective management of company registered transporters as to ensure availability of various trucks for the purpose of time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Pro-actively Solving various problems in logistics operations and provide necessary suggestions /ideas /training /advice to management and company contractors (Transporters/Suppliers) as to achieve the right result.

Represent supply chain department and manage the entire logistics activities at the branch (Aba) in strategic management issues and report directly to AGM supply chain at the head office.

Ensure that all supply daily schedule orders are serviced as to increase company sales and profitability.

Managing company truck drivers to maintain periodic schedules for truck servicing, purchase of diesel and other trucks management activities as to ensure effective logistics operation.

Liase with customers relation Manager, production Manager and Warehouse Manager on daily orders as to ensure that right goods (Feeds) are loaded for movement based on customers specification.

Responsible to manage the registered transporters documents from time to time, such as GIT and ensure their renewal.

Re-defined and coordinate method of receiving inbound raw materials such as time table scheduled for effective logistics operation.

Coordinating and monitoring loaded truck(s) in transit by tracking to achieve time delivery.
