Registrar Supreme Appellate Court, Gilgit-Baltistan

As a Registrar of Supreme Appellate Court of Gilgit-Baltistan, I am in charge of all the Administrative and Financial Matters. I am responsible for processing the cases of the litigants and put up cases to the Honourable Judges for provision of justice to the public. I have prepared and executed several new projects of the Supreme Appellate Court including launching of official website, construction of eight houses and branch registry Building at Skardu. I have trained several officers and staff of the court in Information Technology.

February 2014 – October 2015

Federal Secretary, Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage

As Federal Secretary my responsibilities included overall Formulation and Implementation of Media Policy, Administration, Planning, Human Resource Management, Budget and Financial Management, Public Relations and enforcement of Rules and Regulations in the Ministry of IBNH and its departments/corporations spread all over Pakistan. I was overall in charge of all Administrative and Financial matters of the Federal Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National heritage being the Principal Accounting Officer and Chief Executive of the Ministry.

Projection and publicity of the President and the Prime Minister’s Secretariat and all the Federal Ministries of the Government of Pakistan.

As additional Secretary, I was responsible for assisting the Federal Minister and the Secretary on matters relating to policy and administration of the Ministry, its attached departments and corporations including PTV, PBC, SRBC and APP etc.

As Director General of External Publicity Wing my main responsibility was to monitor Global Media and supervision of Press Officers working in the Pakistan’s Embassies all over the world. I interacted with the international journalists based in Pakistan. I am quite familiar with the global media landscape. I have a long experience of using Information Technology and social media as a tool for interacting with journalists and projection of a better image of Pakistan in International Media.
