Having 2 years of experience as a Site supervisor, Built Multi-storey buildings and landed private house in India. Moreover, I have handled the team of steel benders and masons to execute the work within the stipulated time. Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and understanding of the Tender and Consultant approved structural shop drawings.

Prepare Request for Information (RFI) form and get clarification from consultant if any deviation found in the drawings.

Manage a team of steel benders and masons to carryout structural form work and concreting based on the drawings.

Calculate the area of casting and request the concrete plant to despatch the concrete to site as required.

Coordinate with other trades such as MEP for structural provisions to be made.

Material and manpower allocation to the required work and complete the work as per the master program.

ACADEMIC PROJECT:

STEEL FIBER REINFORCEMENT

• Portland cement of 53 grade was used in this experimentation conforming to I.S. – 12269-1987

• It has high compressive strength and low tensile strength

• It has the three testing they are compressive test, flexural strength and tensile strength

• For compressive strength test, cube specimens of dimensions 150 x 150 x 150 mm were cast for M40 grade of concrete.

• After 28 days curing, these cubes were tested on digital compression testing machine

• For flexural strength test beam specimens of dimension 100x100x500 mm were cast.

• For Split tensile strength test, cylinder specimens of dimension 150 mm diameter and 300 mm length were cast.

• It is observed that compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength are on higher side for 3% fibres as compared to that produced from 0%, 1% and 2% fibres

• It is observed that compressive strength increases from 18% with addition of steel fibres.

• It is observed that flexural strength increases from 39% with addition of steel fibres.

• It is observed that split tensile strength increases from 3% with addition of steel fibres
