v STORESMANAGEMENT:-

v Material Inward:-

Ø Collect the Challan from Security gate and cross check the Security Inward Register. Ø Check the Materials of make, model, brand, sizes, qualityand quantity. Ø Prepare GRNIn iPMS. System & Ledger Register on day to day basis. v Documentations:-

Ø Prepare weekly Pending List for the materials not received against the Indent raised. Ø Check the stock ledger on day-to-day basis.

Ø Audit the physical balance with the Ledger Register balance on every month. Ø RaiseRejection slips for rejected items and forward the same to H.O. v Supervision and Control:-

Ø Control material ordering by checking the Indent and apprise the engineer regarding the availability of the material at site.

Ø Supervise, assist and trainstores assistant in his day-to-day work. Ø Check the Gate pass, Transfer Notes, Issue Slip and weighment slip. Ø Visit the site frequently and check the material being wasted by the contractorsand inform the Engineer.

v Co-ordination:-

Ø Follow-up with suppliers and Purchase Department for timely delivery of material. Ø Co-ordinate withthe Site Incharge/Purchase Dept. for the Challans pending at site. Ø Co-ordinate withEngineer regarding stock status of the items, whichare required on the regular (fast moving items) basis so that he can raise Indent by which the materials arrives within the lead time.

Ø Co-ordinate frequently with the SiteIncharge or Purchase Department for the material lying excess at the site (as per budget) so as to avoid dead stocks piling. Ø Co-ordinate withSite In charge for rejected items lying in stores.

v MaterialOutwardandLogistics:-

Ø Appraise the SiteIn charge and Purchase dept. Regarding the scrap (like steel, tyres, batteries, wooden etc.) accumulated at site & prepare the disposal order. Ø Ensure that the requiring siteproduces proper approved Transfer Note and only then transfer the same.

Ø Accompany the vehicleto check the measurement at weighbridge. v Reports:-

Ø Monthly Report (Inventory of materialson monthly basis as per MIS). Ø Preparing daily follow-up material status as per instructed by Site In charge. Ø DPR (daily perpetual inventory).

Ø Weekly Materials Pending Reports.
