Administrative Assistant Job Duties: answering telephone, filing, fax/scan, typing correspondence/memos, maintain office files, maintain CEO’s calendar in Microsoft Outlook, liaison between the administrator and department directors, organize meetings and (order) lunch when needed, greeting and announcing guests, completion of questionnaires and applications (ex; hospital license application, etc.), handling of workers’ compensation – employee occurrence reports (EOR). Send out memos, taking and typing minutes for these committees: Credentialing Committee, Medical Staff and OR/Surgery Committees. Confidentiality regarding any/all patient information.

Medical Staff Coordinator – Credentialing: obtaining and organizing physician files, prepare physician credentialing packets and any correspondence: application packets to Physician for Appointment or Reappointment to the Medical Staff. Verification of information listed, keeping information (DEA, licenses, etc.) current and up to date, completion of all facility affiliation verifications of past and present physicians.
