This project is to provide Medical Loss Ratio Engine (aka MLRE) tool to achieve the required MLR Medical Loss Ratio enterprise capabilities at the organizational level. MLRE will achieve in calculating and apportioning the total rebate due among the Rebate Recipients corresponds to an Aggregation Group. It also facilitates the payment process, data retention, audit and regulatory reporting. This project also includes activities associated with the development of a rebate tool to issue payment to the customer in the form of a check or premium credit to be applied to future premiums. The Medical Loss Ratio is based upon calendar year results

plus, three months of run-out and the first calendar year for which a rebate applies is 2011.This project involves many external systems like Financial Data Warehouse (FDW), Policy Admin, Eligibility Systems River Valley, UNET, COSMOS, Sierra, PHS, OXFORD, AARP, STUDENT RESOURCE, UHOne, OHPS and Payment Engines like PE for Check Printing, TRS and Duncan for Check Status and Notifications. MLRE also interacts with Broker

Systems called UeS for Marketing purpose. System also has User Interface where Business can approve/Reject checks so that Checks can be Voided/Redistributed.
