Multiple Logistic Management Positions

Buyer: Managed an operating target budget of $5 million dollars; I purchased repair parts, consumables, and service successfully. Prepared appropriate documentations to place orders to commercial vendors, inventory control points, and various activities affiliated with the federal supply system and certified invoices for payment. Maintained spreadsheets and manual files for over three hundred active purchases monthly to record status and track the history of every purchase. To meet mission timelines, I expedited the shipment of more than one hundred priority credit card and system purchases weekly.

Leading Petty (LPO): Coordinated and ensured the smooth, orderly, and expeditious flow of vital parts, material, and supplies were route through Mediterranean Sea on to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf crisis. Expedite hundreds of items totaling over $12 million dollars.

Financial Storekeeper Supervisor: Managed and reported on Operational Target (OPTAR) in excess of $5 million dollars. Allocated monies to all departments of the ship based upon department budgets and spending trends. Conducted monthly financial audits and produced reports for up-line reporting.

Assistant Data Administrator: Assisted in maintaining the NALCOMIS Phase II maintenance and supply database; I monitored data input manipulation, ensured accuracy of data and overall operation of the supply domain while being responsible for entering parameters for multiple management report production and analysis.

Supervisor: While performing the functions of purchasing, storing, issuing, receiving, and maintain the inventory of over one million parts, I mentored fifteen personnel. Provided quarterly training to more than fifty shipboard supply representatives to increase their knowledge, and keeping them abreast of new procedures ensuring purchase documentations were submit correctly. Reviewed supply management reports daily for correctness prior to administering the end of the month financial reports. I coordinated the movement of materials received, shipped, and deposited for disposal.
