ADMINISTRATION OFFICER, JUN 2017 – PRESENT Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Weapons School, Jacksonville, FL

Serves as the Administrative Department Head for 110 Officers, Sailors and civilians in support of the development and standardization for postgraduate maritime patrol and reconnaissance training and tactics, mission planning, and weapons employment for the MPR Force.

ASSISTANT COMBAT DIRECTION CENTER OFFICER, JAN 2015 – JUN 2017 U.S.S Dwight D. Eisenhower, Norfolk, VA

Served as the flagship’s principal defender with weapons release authority that choreographed the daily actions of 10 Naval Officers and 62 technical personnel in the collection, evaluation and dissemination of tactical information required for anti-air missile defense. Directed the tactical command center, provided force protection against surface, subsurface, and air threats for a ship’s crew of over 5,000 personnel.

As the Lead Tactical Action Officer, developed and managed the maritime air and tactical surface picture in direct support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Directly facilitated the completion of 690 flight mission sorties resulting in the employment of 326 weapons drops in support of anti-terrorism campaigns in Iraq and Syria, with a cumulative success rate of 97%.

Architect for the Operations Department largest and most critical segment of the 2016 INSURV inspection. Administratively processed and supervised instruction for over 1700 U.S. and International naval aviators for FY13 and FY14, meeting 100% of the demand signal for Fleet Replacement student requirements. Chief of Operations, Training and Schedules for a 400+ personnel Afghan Air Force unit based in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Served as a U.S. helicopter pilot instructor and Air Advisor to Afghan aviation leadership in austere war-time conditions to develop combat air power and conduct military operations other than war including: logistics, re-supply, Search and Rescue, disaster relief and medical evacuation.

Created a comprehensive joint air request procedure for the Afghan 205th/215th Corps to standardize future helicopter operations for all of central and southeast Afghanistan. Mentored and trained Afghan Air Force leadership on sustainable use of a moderate flight hour/maintenance management plan, while managing a 95% sortie completion rate for the training mission.

Commanded a two aircraft Mi-17 detachment in the insurgent stronghold of Helmand province, extending Afghan operations and doubling its logistics and flight hour capacity by 50%. Single-handedly re-wrote HSMWINGLANT’s Instrument Ground School syllabus and implemented a robust 2-day curriculum with practicum testing for 6 helicopter squadrons and 250 pilots. Recognized subject matter expert that provided mandatory annual instrument flight rules refresher training necessary for pilots to maintain currency and reinforce basic principles.

Handpicked to serve in a new position as Crew Management Resource (CRM) Curriculum Model Manager and single point of expertise for the entire SH-60B community. Shouldered heavy workload, providing CRM initial, re-currency and facilitator training certifications to115 aircrew, while serving as the training compliance inspector for 10 East and West coast squadrons.

Re-invigorated the Search and Rescue (SAR) program by setting the conditions for success through rigorous ground and flight training. This effort led to the great victory achieved during the 2007 SAR Evaluation. Also received the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal for outstanding performance during the 2007 Communications Security Inspection for program compliance.
