Anya Marie Jackson Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Challenge: Facility outgrew four-bed NICU and needed to improve the outcome for NICU patients.

Action: Collaborated with stakeholder team, including caregivers, designers, and project managers to create unit to meet patient and family needs and demonstrated highest level of sustainable design.

Result: The new 14-bed NICU was completed in 15 months with final cost 18% under budget, results the hospital attributes to efficient planning and execution by the project team.

Wausau Window & Wall Systems

Manufacturing & Office Facility, Wausau, WI

Challenge: Developer-led project, 390,000 square foot facility built to a budget and at 75% completion, the decision was made to create LEED certified building while adhering to tight final completion date.

Action: Drove project team to integrate new direction and meet schedule.

Result: This ultimately resulted in building being completed on time and on budget, with minimal surprises. Final project was awarded Silver LEED certification by the US Green Building Council.

Dudley Tower, Wausau, WI

Challenge: The 165,000 square foot Class A office space building was commissioned and designed to incorporate the highest standards as a tribute to the owner’s brothers.

Action: Project team spent numerous hours reviewing building components with owner to meet goals and discuss all potential options.

Result: New 10-story state-of-the-art office building features amenities beyond building codes: advanced heating and cooling plant with Hepa filter system and lower level, climate-controlled executive parking facility.
