Having passed my MBBS from BYL Nair Hospital and TN Medical College,MUMBAI, in my pursuit of surgery I joined the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Science, Mumbai, having registered for MS Surgery.

During my residency I had an opportunity to assist and perform as well many major and supra major surgeries, besides attending emergency trauma cases,under the guidance of Dr.V.N.Shrikhande,as my teacher.I also performed diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies, and Laparoscopic surgeries.I also actively took part in all the research,workshops,conferences and scientific activities during my residency.

Post MS, Gen surgery, I worked as a Senior Resident at Jaslok Hospital in surgical Intensive Care Unit.Here I had unique opportunity to assist and perform surgeries with doctors like Dr.Shirish Bhansali,Dr.P.H.Doctor,Oncosurgeon Dr. Navare, Laparoscopic surgeon Dr.Balsara.At Jaslok I use to manage all the patients who underwent major surgeries in the surgical ICU.

Thereafter I worked as a Fellow in Surgical Gastroenterolgy and Laparoscopy,at Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and Advance Laparoscopy, Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Parel,Mumbai.

Here,being a municipal hospital,I got a unique experience to handle independently both Elective and Emergency cases,complicated GI cases and patients requiring Basic as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery. This resulted in boosting of my confidence tremendously, and spurred me to further specialize in sub-specialty of GI Surgery and advance laparoscopy.

Encouraged with advance Laparoscopy work I acquired Diploma in Advance Laparoscopy,At GEM ENDOSURGERY,National Training and research Institute,India(P) Ltd.,GEM Hospital,COIMBATORE,from Dr. C.Palanivelu,who was once the only Indian Surgeon among the “Top Six” invited faculty for SAGES(Society of American Gasrtointestinal Endoscopic Surgeon)still practicing as a renowned Laparoscopic Surgeon.Here I gained more experience in Advance Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery too.I also have been as an Observer with Dr. Ramesh Ardhanari, to see advance Laparoscopy and H.P.B(Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary)work at the Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai.

With all the experience gained I started my private practice in Ahmedabad, and working as Consultant in Surgical Gastroenterology and Advance Laparoscopy at the following Hospitals :
