In my career I have supervised various building projects and installs such as Plate freezer installs (horizontal and vertical) and Blast freezers. Determined the placement and managed the install from start to finish. Installed screw compressor’s Frick, Vilter, Mycoms. Motor installs from 1000hp - 1hp. Condenser 396 cat tons, Evapco. Water treatment for condensers and installed pumps and support chemical controls install. Spiral Freezer installs, whole bird chiller install and determining the placement of additional production lines and managed install and startup. Designed and built four engine rooms. Managed the removal of and installed 140 bird per minute lines for first processing. This was approximately a 12 million dollar project that was completed and target goals were met. Managed a 40 million dollar project that included; removal of old equipment, revamped all electrical and mechanical systems and installed all new state of the art equipment from live receiving to WPL pack out area.

Hired to be responsible for all aspects of restructuring an old poultry facility that had been shut down for 4 years and get it ready to process again utilizing state of the art equipment. Responsible for Maintenance, Refrigeration, Purchasing and sanitation. This was the first fully integrated facility for Simply Essentials so I was responsible for creating and implementing all programs and processes to ensure compliance with all legal requirements. As maintenance and refrigeration manager I managed all the schedules for work to be performed by our staff as well as outside contractors. I dealt daily with multiple contractors and venders, and at any given day could have had 3-5 contractors and vendors in the facility. I determine priority of projects as well as take bids and help determine cost effectiveness for each project. I managed a staff of 11 refrigeration techs and maintenance men on a three shift/7 day schedule. I have managed condenser installs, crane installs, Evaporators, and new screw installs. Responsible for all inventory, contractors, vendors, pm program, systems readiness for operations for all production scheduling of 24/7 maintenance coverage. Monitoring of all Refrigeration systems and PMS for the system. Training and development of staff and managing the contractors Maintenance there consisted of pneumatic, HYD, electrical, plumbing, boiler system, pallet jacks, forklifts, mechanical conveyer systems, refrigeration, welding, PLC’s, sensor replacements High pressure water systems, water treatment systems.
