Configure and maintain sales Item Category group for Sales Ops, configuring shipping points and conditions for sales orders. Maintain all aspects of the material master as it impacts SD.

Developed and configured the Logistics executions with 2 3PLS both directly using standard SAP SD and later, modified the delivery process to conform to new company policies of setting the 3PLs up in a more Contract Manufacturer environment. Consulting position at the North Americans division of a large international Food Service company (Unilever Best Foods North America) to coordinate, lead and manage (as well as execute) System Integration Testing for nationwide upgrade/introduction of SAP R/3 Supply Chain Management (Production Planning module - Forecast-driven execution vs Made-to-order ), Material Management (Inventory Management and new Purchasing processes) and SAP Shipping/Transportation (SD and Logistics Execution), including Batch Management functionality at various factory locations throughout North America. Consult with Project PP lead to ensure proper configuration and setup of Planning Time fences and MPS/MRP process runs.

Consult with SD configurator to ensure Batch Management for Deliveries (new Delivery type) executed properly. Ten factories across the US were successfully converted on time with no unplanned/unexpected downtime or errors. Coordinate with the BASIS organization the preparation of data to be transferred from the existing legacy system to the new SAP client and participation in the transition activities prior to actual cutover over. Review, modify and make Master Data changes (Material Masters, vendor masters) as required to ensure proper execution on batch management of Finished Goods.

Coordinate and deliver Enduser overviews and training as a precursor to GO-LIVE activities at Headquarters location and on site.

Team member of a new R/3 SAP system implementation team for the Connectivity Solutions division of Lucent Technologies including extensive Business and Operational Process reengineering and converting those business requirements to SAP System requirements, primarily for the SD module, including Variant Configuration. Work with 2 teams (Atlanta and Omaha) to properly design, configure and implement the SD module ensuring that location differences did not create system conflicts while meeting the needs/requirements of 2 separate enduser communities.

Direct activities of ABAP programmers to create new interface for Order Entry systems, including interactions with HQ developers for inter-company orders (IDOCs), fulfillment and billing. Work directly with developers to create, test and implement new order entry system (using IDOCs and EDI) as Avaya Was spun off from Lucent, for full stream “Quote-to-Cash processes. While Lucent used non-SAP systems for direct order entry and billing, a new process needed to be designed, configured, testing and introduced for division. Implement new intra-company billing, in cooperation with Corporate Finance. .Division representative to corporate team performing FI/CO consolidations and plant-to-plant ordering. Worked closely with Business Managers (including senior management) on SAP Reports (writing Queries) and use and creation of Sale Information System. Provided on site enduser GO LIVE support at both locations (factories in Atlanta, GA and Omaha, NE) as the various modules were implemented. The Omaha facility implemented, in sequence, the SD, MM, PP (Make-to-forecast, Assemble-to-order and Variant Configuration), PM,QM and FI/CO modules over period of 6 months. Actively worked support for each module, onsite, both as Tier 1 & 2 support as well as testing changes and interpreting enduser needs to SAP requirements. The Atlanta facilities subsequently introduced the PM, PP (Repetitive and Made-to-order), MM, SD (including Warehouse Management), QM and FI/CO modules which I actively provided the same Tier 1 & 2 support as in Omaha.
