Professional Experience

November 2016 to Present - Praxis Industries TN

Maintenance Manager -- Lead a team of Technicians for coverage for 12 to 14 hours of operation. Implement a CMMS system for Work order, and PM tracking. Reduced overtime by 20% by staggering maintenance shifts and increased productivity. Gather Quotes for various Projects and manage the project from concept to completion. Setup a vendor and implemented an automatic / consigned stocking system for hardware, common electrical / plumbing supplies and hydraulic fittings / hoses with press and fittings. I have written up standard work for maintenance. Control Spare parts inventory. Ordering and vendor selection for various supplies needed for manufacturing repairs. Mentored the technicians, train and inspired them to create a better Team environment. Attend daily Staff Meetings, to understand production demands and issues. Attend and sometime lead the Employee Engagement meetings, to gain better employee relations and improve employee retention, as well as learn different way to engage the employees. Proactively engage with production to schedule maintenance that needs to be performed. When necessary, I jump in and lend a hand, assist technicians with troubleshooting and making repairs.

Electrical Process Support Technician IV Lead – Duties Consist of, but not limited to the Receiving calls from Call Center and dispatching WO to appropriate Technician, troubleshooting and repair of Test Cell, Fanuc Robot, Mazak, Cincinnati Mills with Fanuc controls, and many other types of equipment used with in the Caterpillar facility our contract supports.

December 2009 – June 2015 --ATS

Maintenance Technician II- Primarily responsible for Test Cells at CAT Corinth. These duties consist of Calibrations, PM’s, as well as, troubleshooting any equipment issues. Since taking over the Test cells, we have been able to reduce trouble calls and increase production by a substantial amount. Secondary responsibilities were to assist taking trouble calls throughout the Caterpillar site. I have work experience with Fanuc Robots, Mazak, Cincinnati Mills, Ingersoll-Rand washers, G&L Mills, and many other types of equipment used at the Caterpillar facility. Predictive Maintenance duties; Vibratory Analysis, Thermal Scanning and Ultrasonic Scanning, collecting data and generating report on a simi- annual basis.

September 2003 – December 2009 – United Stainless, Inc

Maintenance Technician- Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining computerized and programmable controlled equipment. Among these were 7 Stainless Steel Tubing Mills with support equipment, 2 Link 6800, and 4 4900 Ink Jet Printers, and Rofin Laser for welding. On the job experience with program modifications, program replacement and troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley PLC-5 and SLC 500, Electrical wiring of 110v and 480v, installation of new equipment, along with all general maintenance duties.

Factory Product Support Engineer – Responsible for Technical Support for Manufacturing and being Divisional Representative for Manufacturing. Duties included: Divisional Representative for all Zero Defect Control and Cycle Time Reduction projects to ensure all Field found issues were addressed and evaluated value add of projects. Assisted Project Managers as Technical Advisor with Critical Customer Source Inspections and Configuration Issues. Core Team Member for two Installation and Warranty Steering Committee Projects. Gather and distribute technical information to the appropriate personnel for New Products, and Field Issues. Support Manufacturing Engineering organization with Cycle Time Reduction efforts and Implementation of Red Book. Rewrite the Tier I Start up procedure with the help of LSO Group and Field Inputs. Worked with the field on Start up Non-conformances to resolve them in a timely manner.

Customer Engineer – Responsible for Start up, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Simi- Conductor Processing Equipment on Customer Sites. Systems Champion on 5500, 5200 and P5000 Applied Materials Mainframes for Start up and assisted three other 5500, one 5200, and one P5000 Start ups. Also, Assisted with WXZ Chamber retrofits. Assisted Total Product Support Engineers with numerous WXZ problem systems in Florida, Maine, Texas and Belgium. Primary Shift coverage for Etch, DCVD, PVD and MCVD on various contracts. Assisted customer with site preparations prior to system arrival. Worked in 5500 PVD Final test for 5 weeks and 4 weeks Final Test to expedite first 2 5500’s for Twinstar.
