I have a background in both the trucking and insurance industries. Having worked in both fields I have learned a great deal about customer service and satisfaction. In both industries I had to learn and utilize industry specific computer programs as well as utilizing basic computer office programs such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook Express and QuickBooks. In addition to computer programs I also had to learn how to utilize all types of office equipment to its fullest capabilities to work in the most efficient and proficient manners. I also had to obtain special licensing to work in the insurance industry, which I self studied the laws of insurance and types of coverages offered under the Property & Casualty Insurance field. I also had to have knowledge of safety regulations in the trucking industry, not only for my safety but for the safety of those employed in the terminal I worked in, which meant a lot of studying of hazardous materials manuals and safety operations manuals.
I am definitely a people person and enjoy helping them solve or resolve problems. I love working as a leader or liaison between client and company interest. I have planned events for previous organizations that I have work for, this is also a passion of mine. On my creative side I have also designed magazine and news print ads for previous employers.
To sum it up I am a person that can learn what they need to to perform any task at hand. I have a love of working with the public and helping them to solve whatever issues they may be having at any given point in time, I have even used my own personal life experiences at times to help others. I love being creative and coming up with new innovative ideas to help grow the place I am working for. Afterall a growing businesses is a good business and good business makes for good clients.
