Profile/Relevant Experience
Leading During Medical Emergencies: For example- I periodically conduct community-wide assessment to recognize population health trends, plan and implement evidence-based interventions. I facilitated healing using the Psychological First Aid tool during the 2017 community-based tragedy in Thompson. I facilitated a project on community youth resilience building. I served as a vaccinator and acting coordinator in Dublin (Ireland) during the H1N1 influenza outbreak in 2009/2010. Delegated people based on their competencies
A Teacher & Role Model: Conduct education need analysis (individual and organizational), design curriculum, negotiate human and material resources, provide teaching-learning interactions, perform measurement and evaluation and provide feedback. I Coordinated, facilitated, and supervised the use of the nursing process in clinical areas.
Capacity Building/Empowering Others: Perform people profiling, delegate with clear instruction and provide opportunities for people to demonstrate their dexterity without fear or favour. For example, I innovated self-medication training program for clients, designed the curriculum, arranged for co-facilitators, and performed program evaluation which led to improved medication compliance and clients becoming peer supports developing self-medication monitoring skills. I facilitated a project on family involvement in mental health rehabilitation interventions.
