Human Resource Manager
This role was the lead Human Resource position in a 250+ associate manufacturing/assembly plant, responsible for HR functions to include Training and Development, Safety, and HR Compliance. Focus was to run a lean manufacturing environment and to develop training that supported lean programs in all areas. Human Resource department planned, managed, and coordinated all major human resource functions for the plant including recruitment and employment, wage and salary administration, fringe benefits, safety and health, employee relations, employee communications, industrial and community relations, employee training and staff development, affirmative action planning and EEO issues, plant security, HRIS software and personnel records management. Coordinated and managed all human resource and personnel relations activities to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines, and also conformance with corporate human resource policies and procedures. Worked on project teams to develop competencies to support the salary structure and the performance management process.
