Optimization of Transportation Cost for FedEx, Detroit. Aug2015-Dec2015

Team project on minimization of total cost of supply chain operation of FedEx.

We have defined optimal route from warehouse to distribution and further to retailers. I worked on linear programming to optimize total transportation cost.

Experimentation and Optimization of Surface Grinding process by using different solid Coolants July 2013-Mar2014

It was a research Oriented Project in which we had to find out the solid coolant which would give better Surface Finish and which requires less power to operate and the reaction force.

Zinc Phosphate, Molybdenum disulphide, Graphite, Boric acid were the 4 solid lubricants used and AISI 4140, AISI 4340, AISI 52100 were the 3 materials of plates that we used with different cuts of 10 microns, 30 microns, 50 microns.

Finally, we came up with Zinc Phosphate gives better surface finish than other three coolants.
