Mainframe Developer responsible for the detail design, coding, and testing of software solutions for Billing system (CMPS / TMPS-VMMS / BMIU) using Cobol, DB2, SQL, SPUFI, IMS, JCL, and Agile. The back-end Host Authorization system interfaces with the JAVA front-end system using MQ in order to complete the purchase of a hunting license. Worked on the Pariter project, which was a joint venture aimed at processing ACH transactions between Wells Fargo and Bank of America. The goal was to form a platform to process payments received by customers of one of the banks that drew on accounts held by customers of the other (an ‘on-us’ arrangement). Responsibilities included:

1. Responsible for Special Processes, OFAC, and Check Conversion design and coding on ACH/PEP+ system for the California West consolidation project and the Northeast Consolidation project. States on various LPARs were consolidated onto one LPAR.

2. Collaborate with interfacing applications to ensure proper design.

3. Provide testing support.

4. Coordinate and host meetings with interfacing applications.

5. Perform analysis and design for Posting Returns and Returns Autobalancing.

6. Provide SME support to offshore and onshore resources.

As a contractor prior to 2010, worked on various projects, including the FPI (Flexible Product Infrastructure) project that created a centralized system to hold all 'Flexible Product Infrastructure' tables and Product attributes, which enabled Business team to customize and introduce new products as per the market needs in the given short period of time.

Worked with ASP.NET developers as a technical lead on a 2 month project to develop the database design and write a Technical Design document and program specifications for the Expedited Hot Shipment project at J.C. Penney. Also programmed in Cobol DB2.

Wrote detail design, coded, and tested in the Credit Card System for the MBNA client as a technical lead. Participated in creating Business Requirements documents (BRDs) and converted these BRDs into High Level designs (HLDs) and further converted the HLDs into Low Level designs (LLDs). Projects included Strategic System Extension (SSE); data previously provided to MBNA Europe Marketing Database from UK systems (such as Experian) was replaced with data from MBNA America Information Systems. Also, performed data analysis and wrote programs to update de-normalized tables in the Run Time Improvement project for Data Warehousing in order to minimize the complexity of user queries. Created Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models. Created business requirement documents, including job flows using the Erwin diagram tool for data modeling; worked with the data architect to gather business requirements that formed the basis of the database design; wrote Conceptual Functional design documents; wrote implementation plans; and adhered to SDM lifecycle methodology. Worked on Y2K conversion, the credit protection project, and established real-time credit accounts. Programmed in COBOL OS/390, CICS, DB2, JCL, and Assembly using Intertest, VSAM, FileAid, SQL, SPUFI, QMF, BMC utilities, and load and unload utilities.
