Wild Well Control – Houston, TX

Senior Technical Advisor / Drilling Operations (7/2013 to11/2013) Hired for 30/30 rotation in Saudi Arabia to perform Well Control Monitoring and consulting for Saudi Aramco. Monitored 150 to 170 wells (land drilling, offshore drilling and workover) on a daily basis. 80 percent of these wells were high concentrate H2S. Logged drilling parameter trends, well control events and wells that showed signs of possible future events based off of offset wells and lithography. This was sent out as a daily report to all Drilling Managers within Saudi Aramco. This was a “First Responder Position” in case of a blowout. My position was initially to replace the Senior Advisor of the project but Aramco’s interim management would not officially approve the personnel change due to continuous management restructuring within Saudi Aramco and also because our parent company Superior Energy had an “all-inclusive services” tender contract pending with Saudi Aramco. After 2 months of no field work I terminated my position with Wild Well Control. In retrospect I feel I was hired pre-maturely for the position. Orion Well Services – Houston, TX
