CEO Nostrum Motors, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nostrum Pharmaceutical. Nostrum Motors provides innovative solutions to Automotive OEM’s, Aftermarket, Truck and Bus, and other Transportation providers. Nostrum Motors has developed unique Intellectual Property, which enables Diesel, Gasoline and Natural Gas internal combustion engines to achieve dramatic fuel efficiency and emission improvements. VP Operations, with equity position, working with the founder and CEO of Electrovaya, to transition the company from a Scientific and Research company to a high volume manufacturer of proprietary lithium polymer batteries for Automotive, Stationary, and Renewable Energy Storage. Increased capacity 3X in fourteen months, while implementing design, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, quality, ISO/TS audit, and financial systems, critical for high volume manufacturing. Implementing ERP, Lean, and Team processes. Working with Banks, Hedge Funds, and other Institutional Investors to secure non-diluting debt for growth. Increased order book, 4X in twelve months. Have worked closely with Department of Energy, and State and Local officials in site selection and negotiations of incentives. Aug 2010 to Sept 2012

While President - Dresser Waukesha, a $500M producer of large Power Generation, and Gas Compression engines, provided transitional leadership, while reducing headcount at Dresser Waukesha 47% in six months while simultaneously expanding engineering programs and growing marketing presence in emerging markets. Implemented Division wide Oracle ERP system. Prepared the company to be sold from Private Equity, to General Electric. July 2009 to Aug 20010

As President of Chrysler Global Electric Motorcars, executed a critical, zero-emission compliance strategy, which allowed the parent Chrysler, to sell high margin vehicles in California, and other emission restrictive States. Developed an all new concept Neighborhood Electric Vehicle, and laid foundation, for the divestiture of the business to Polaris to raise cash for Chrysler. Jan 2008 to Jul 2009

As President of the Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance, a joint venture between Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Chrysler, created to design and build a common engine which would be built in two Korean, one Japanese, and two American plants. led the World Engine joint venture to be named in the Harbour Report as the most productive engine plant in North America, recognizing efficiency levels 31% greater than Toyota’s most efficient plant. The operation, has become the center piece of Fiat’s North American Powertrain strategy. GEMA was critical, in that it established a breakthrough labor agreement with the UAW that set the standard for today’s post-bankruptcy, competitive labor contracts, based upon a single job classification, at-risk compensation, and a two year technical degree or equivalent hiring requirement. Led “Layered Process Audit” concept throughout JV company. Jun 2003 to Jan 2008

Earned recognition for the Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance’s North American plants in 2008, with the company being awarded the Shingo Prize for operational excellence as well as being named Plant Engineering Magazine’s “Plant of the Year.” Jun 2003 to Jan 2008

As VP of Powertrain Manufacturing at Chrysler, was responsible for a 9,200 employee, $4.25 Billion Powertrain Manufacturing Division. Led team of nine Plant Managers to achieve a 16% year over year cost reduction through aggressive Lean implementation across six engine plants, one axle, and two foundry plants. Implemented Balanced Score Card across all plants. Jul 2001 to Jun 2003

As Director – Chrysler Powertrain Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, led strategic development and execution of a $4.8B, 5-year capital plan focused on, project management execution, capacity utilization, flexibility, asset re-utilization and RONA. Jul 2000 Jul 2001
