Train and support operators on this new machine, results were the production went up from 4000 parts to a consistent 9000 parts a shift after troubleshooting the problems and improving the program on the CNC and the robotic arm.

My next task was also to develop another new machine and job to the shop ( Gardner Double-Disc Grinder), results again were:

Implementing a new generation of CBN Grinding machines (5Axis)

Worked directly with engineering in the development of all facets of machines and process development.

I was involved in process and parameter definition.

Implementing part flow. We achieved efficiency and perfect parts, on time, at lower cost.

I was later asked to train and evaluate manufacturing personnel in technical methods.

Reviewing gauges and fixtures plans.

Participated in Kaizen events and the Pratt & Whitney ACE program.
