Temporary assignment with the City of Santa Rosa Payroll Department from March-June, 2017.

•Input information for new hires for the Park and Recreation Department and part of the Utility Department including any union information necessary concerning dues, equipment, accrual of time off.

•Handled the Milage and Trip logs for payment for use of personal cars used for city assignments

•Tracked and validated all support received for special pay offs for time accrued per union rules.

•Prepared the payroll for the 2 departments of approximately 465 employees on a biweekly, in-house payroll process.

Senior Payroll Specialist

•Began as a Payroll Processor for the Western area, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Texas. Also was in charge of Georgia, some of Florida and Massachusetts. The total compliment of those areas was 400 to 600 depending on the time of year. The total for the company varied from 1500 to 3000. Even though I was in charge of certain areas, if help was needed elsewhere, I was there.

•Processed a biweekly payroll for the Corporate office, approximately 350 associates by validating all time card entries and prepared for transmission to the ADP system, Pro Business, and receiving of same.

•Processed the 7 locations in Canada with ADP Ceridian, approximately 250 associates by validating all time card entries and prepared for transmission to the ADP Canada system and to receive the same.

•Prepared necessary forms for reporting to various employment development agencie

•Input all payroll information for the Canadian associates, including new hire information, termination and garnishments.

•Process manual checks for terminations in both the US and Canada and submitted termination reports to the agencies necessary

•Worked with both a time clock time keeping system and E-time electronic timekeeping

•Received and prepared reports on the Oracle accounting system

•Interfaced with the HRIS system to load and update employee files as needed.

Mollie Stone’s Markets

Payroll Coordinator. January, 1996-October,2004

•Began in Accounts Receivable processing invoices for 5 store locations and determining payment times (Jan-May 1996)

•Changed positions to Payroll Processor when current employee left to pursue other options using an in house program.

•Prepared and processed an in-house payroll for approximately 650 employees on a weekly basis.

•Prepared all union information for 3 butchers unions, including accrued vacation and sick time available for use.

•Also tracked all information regarding grocery unions for the 5 locations of Mollie Stone’s Markets.

•Prepared and processed the taxes due for payroll.
