Responsibilities included set up and removal of molds and auxiliary equipment, maintenance of injection molding machines. This included changing leaking water and hydraulic lines, changing heater bands on machines, keeping the machines greased and clean .and other maintance on the machines. Also had to keep molds greased, cleaned and do routine checks on those molds that were running. Did the processing to achieve best cycle times and good quality product. Had to keep record of any changes made in process. Had to use forklifts to bring molds out and bring them back to the mold vault.Forklift certified on both sit down and stand up lifts. Have great knowledge of various plastic materials. Had to use an overheadrane for mold set ups and removal. The sizes of the molding machines ranged from 80 ton to 2500 ton.
