Position: Lead Designer Piping

Duties;

v A FPSO topside module scope where I gained extensive experience in detailed engineering, where my responsibilities are to ensure that the design layout is complying with the P&ID and process 2

requirements. Ensure that the applicable company system is used, that the relevant QA procedures and standards are followed and that the piping and layout design within my area of responsibility conforms to contract specific requirements and any applicable client, company, national and international standards, design codes and legislation and raise deviations where necessary. My plan modeled all priority lines for early stress calculation for support location so structural and piping can parallel execute the design and also the procurement department can do their work. Every week I have to review all model in my area check all lines are modeled yellow off against the master P&ID for monitoring and check equipment’s against latest vendor drawing. As part of company objectives flexibility in work. I also do some pipe layout, support modeling and efficiently executing 3D PDMS and 2D support draft using PDMS. I also modeled dummy steel at conceptual stage, preliminary access ladder location and platform for structural final design calculation and materials. Review model in preparation for 30%, 60%, 90% client review, in preparation for the review. I review all valves access, maintenance and operation, I ensure that access and maintenance volumes are not clashing with the valve hand wheel for obstruction. Maintenance of all equipment with bundle pull out are free from any obstruction and have clear access to the laydown area, give more priority to scape route access volume and always coordinate with the material handling engineer. With these procedures we lessen the client comments and easily target the isometric issuance for the priority lines.

I also handle the additional scope from IHI, Lay-out of Hull Piping for support and stress final calculation.

v Working in Norway you have to be familiar with NORSOK, this is a standard developed by the Norwegian. Z005 Norsok standard: 2D-CAD Drawing. L001 Norsok standard: Piping and Valves, L002 Norsok standard: Piping Design Lay-out and Stress Analysis. M001 Norsok standard: Material Selection. And also Statoil TR 2000: Piping and Valve material specification. Statoil Stidweb and SAP system this is where all activities will be input so that maintenance and operator of Statoil knows what is your activities and scheduled.

v Working at Aibel Hammerfest Norway / Singapore, I experience working as a Piping Engineer, I study the (109072 TTS Check valve dimensioning for fail) modification project of 3 compressor 12in discharge line by installing a double check valve and one block valve for each line and also study the demolition of 12in existing compressor discharge line modification, this demolition study shows how many cutting of pipe needed to bring the demolished pipe to the laydown area. This demolition needed MTO for weight input for costing. I prepared the study report for 30%, 60%, 90% client review. In preparation for the execution phase report. This study report need visual aid so I prepared the 3D PDMS modelling of pipe and support, checking of space requirements, checking clash with reference to scanned model and offshore survey report, Truview, point cloud and photos. I prepared the tie-in point for electronic scanning survey. I prepared the weight input for costing. Estimating weight according to study for the modification line as per activity. Prepared the DEES Schema this is the detail engineering estimation system where you will estimate man hour you will used in every activity code during execution. During the execution phase I prepared the pre-fab isometric extraction and checking. Prepared pipe stress isometric for stress analysis and support locations. 2D pipe support draft extraction, 2D pipe support drawing checking. Fabrication package, Demolition package, Installation package. As-built isometric for client documentation. 101071 STATFJORD SFC (Air Handling Unit) this is the study and execution for the increase of capacity of the HVAC unit, additional lines and valves and existing lines modification as per process requirements.

v Working at Aibel Hammerfest Norway, 109045 a modification project for additional check valve and a block valve for inline test arrangement near control valve the challenge in this modification is the access is not feasible I have to modify the existing platform. 109055 are the study of additional fire hydrant in the jetty. 109082 is the modification of DP measurement of column 22-VE-101 and 22-VE- 102 by adding PI for stage of the column the challenge in this modification is the space and operation of double block and bleed valves. And the support of the db valves, you have to use existing frame and no to much weight. 109083 are a modification of line by adding multistage orifice plate for pressure protection and a new relief valve. 109076 is the study of a additional flare to be used while the existing flare is being repair because of broken flare tips. The challenge in this study is that we have work on the flare line, which is on operation, study proposes using special hot tapping, I prepared the technical requisition for the hot tap and the technical requisition for the flare tips. Discuss with Fumanite Hot Tapping personnel the hot tapping procedure and risk. v I have to determine the advantages and disadvantages and relative cost of alternative design concepts and establish preferred concepts. Demonstrating continual improvement in the execution of work.
