Requested as a regular speaker at the Minnesota Aids Project's program for those newly diagnosed with HIV.
Attended numerous trainings during those two years for those working with the HIV population.
Testified at a legislative hearing to support assistance to the new growing population of women and children with HIV happening at that time.

Provided psychosocial support to those living on dialysis, with special focus on their end of life and provided support. The majority of caseload was Native Americans who were living on reservations in South Dakota and northern Minnesota. Home visits were made on annually or semi-annually to the reservations. My caseload included the HIV population on dialysis.
Provided trainings to other nephrology staff on psychosocial issues of those living with end stage renal disease that included a presentation on advance care directives.
Saw this dialysis population both inpatient and outpatient and travelled to dialysis units outside the metro area.
Provided direct service to those having kidney transplants, assessing coping and providing support.
Served on a community committee to find housing for diabetics who needed specialized housing as their disease progressed.
