Site construction superintendent in charge of running hourly and sub contract crews for various stages of construction. Estimate materials that are needed, and are ordered in a timely manner. Responsible for coordination with home office in Florida for hours, expenses and invoicing.

Promoted to position to be in charge of daily operations and work force. Ensured on-going projects were adequately staffed, camp facilities updated and maintained. Responsible for procurement and logistics operations, to locate items and materials for projects and customers. Recruited to head up the new western division paving operations for Kentucky based contractor. Initially employed as superintendent, responsible for providing on-site supervision in all phases of concrete construction. Worked closely with city inspectors, private inspectors, engineers, and architects to ensure accuracy and quality. Also responsible for completing projects in a timely manner while staying within the jobs budget. Subsequently promoted to Estimator – preparing estimates for high end custom home foundations, multifamily and commercial projects including tilt- wall and elevated concrete on deck. Co-titled as Project Manager, responsible for managing the work of ten to twenty employees and subcontractors, from start-up through completion of construction operations.

Provided hands-on construction experience in all facets of the homebuilding industry. Duties included conducting pre- construction meetings, hiring, and supervising subcontractors with crews of up to 40 trade workers, and performing follow-up as well as customer service to homeowner’s after completion of construction. Also built three separate series of homes in the Richmond, Rosenburg, and Fulshear, Texas areas.
