At this position I spent a couple months in each area of the shop. Ran a plasma cutting table. Loaded and unloaded steel with over head crane and plate hooks. Welded weldments and prepped for paint.

Welded together a wide array of weldments from thin gage steel to thicker material up to inch thick. We also welded stainless steel. Aluminum titanium. Built jigs and checked them to print then welded and had them inspected.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Through out my carrier as a welder. I have always strived to learn more and become a better fabricator. All of my jobs up to my employment with Mopec were mostly production welding jobs. After Mopec I started to get into the machine building which is pretty much a millwright. So the jobs were contract based usually 6 months to a year. So my last job was here at the Tesla plant. We finished the job and I decided to stay here in California. I recently passed my journey men millwright test and have my journey men’s card. My ideal job would be 50 to 60 hours a week.
