Data Warehouse Migration Assessment May 2017 – August 2017

Project Description

The project involves the migration of their existing Teradata DB environment to Netezza DW appliance environment. Project involves 3 different phases wave1, wave2, wave3 across the applications.

1. Wave 1 ~ Application Spoke

2. Wave 2 ~ Build Data Factory (System of Record & Data Integration Hub)

3. Wave 3 ~ BI Spoke (TBD)

In wave 1, converted all the Teradata keywords to Netezza compatible keywords using Unix code and conversion of Teradata scripts to Netezza scripts. In wave 2, Loaded all the tables with corresponding data using Netezza scripts(NZSQL). Implementation of wave 3 was done by BI team.
